Camp Tiger Hall: Summer's Cool Summer School 2013
What: A 12 week long indoor/outdoor active and fun camp experience operated by Tiger Hall!
- Casual, wholesome and flexible mixed ages program for ages 4 - 8 with an ideal balance between indoor and outdoor summer fun!
- UNIQUE Morning Drop-Off Window: 8:30 am - 10:00 am (There's no being "late"!)
- Fun, hands-on and educational Summer Curriculum that incoporates reading, geography, science, math, art, dance, music and more!
- Summer 2013 Curriculum Theme: Around the World in 90 Days
- Daily adventures around Princeton Borough and Township (and surrounding areas) via school bus or company van.
- Sample outings include: Plainsboro Wildlife Preserve, Plainsboro Recreation Center, Princeton Public Wading Pool (John Street), Halo Pub, Princeton Public Library, Local Playgrounds, Local Farms, Nassau Park Spray Ground Pavillion, Paved "Hiking" Trails, Princeton University Art Museum, Princeton University Campus, Baker Hockey Rink (spectating), and more!

Saturday Parent and Me Open Play
- What: Saturdays Only! Come relax with friends or bring a playdate and let the kids rip and roar through our funky indoor play space! Craft supplies are available for free usage in our art room (paint, smocks, paper and craft knick knacks). Complete a fun project and then let the kids explore our playroom, tumble room and library of books, puzzles and family games. TV, free wifi and a lounge available for the adults. Bring lunch from home or order-in. Microwave and fridge available for free usage. Dine-in or dine outdoors in our courtyard. Get Free and Unlimited Saturday Open Play when you sign up for a class!

Pen Pals & Book Worms: Reading and Writing Club
- What: Weekly 1.5 hour long tutoring group geared to stimulate and challenge advanced younger readers and writers as well as encourage and propel older readers/writers who may be having a tougher time. This group will explore literacy through fun games, songs and gross motor activities. Age appropriate reading and writing tasks will also be fundamental elements of each session. Some topics covered include but are not limited to: Vowel Sounds, Blends, Silent E, Action Words, Main Idea, Poetry, Haiku, Creative Writing, Play Writing, Fiction vs. Non-Fiction, etc. Pre-requisite: Child must know most sight words in order to apply.

- What: Kids’ MusicRound® is a singing, laughing, giggling, jiggling, clapping, dancing, bouncing, fun-filled, award-winning music and movement experience for infants and children to age six. With the KMR research-based children's music program, a child's natural curiosity about music is nurtured in a playful, encouraging class environment. Preschool and parent-child classes offered at Tiger Hall Play Zone.

- What: Beloved dance instructor, Miss Dawn, will be teaching a year long ballet, jazz and tap dance course at Tiger Hall for girls and boys ages 4 - 6. Tykes will be introduced to creative movement by way of jazz, tap and ballet techniques. Tap and dance footwear is necessary. End of year recital in early June!

- What: Professional performance artist and certified music teacher, Mr. Lovey Wiiliams, will be coming on board to direct a new kiddie choir and music class at Tiger Hall. This pint-sized chorus will be introduced to music through accapella, song, dance and rhythm activities. This spunky music class will also offer opportunities for local performance opportunities throughout the year.

Little Rockers: Cool Kids Music Class
- What: The Little Rockers Band is now rockin' Tiger Hall. Little Rockers Cool Kids Music classes use kindie rock originals and classic hits to introduce to kids to rhythm and melody in a fun and laid back atmosphere. 45 minute mommy and me class taught by two teaching artists. Open to children from 3 months to 4 years. Are you ready for rockin'?

- What: Your child will be immersed into a lively, mono-lingual German environment during each session. Along with learning basic German, the kids will be using colorful flash cards, listening to German children’s stories, playing board games, incorporating arts and crafts and learning beautiful German songs. For cultural learning, the class will celebrate German holidays and children’s birthdays with real German flair! Children fluent in German are also welcome to sign up for this class.
Instructor, Heike Pauline Reinhart, was born and educated in Germany. As a native German speaker, she now teaches German (specializing in a wide range of students from children to parents). She is known for her unique teaching style which incorporates visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning methods, adjusted for each child’s learning needs. She has nearly five years worth of experience and is well known in the Princeton area for her amazing work!

***Kids MusicRound: Music and Movement ($72 per month) Parent and Me Program
Not unlike our other programs, Tiger Hall’s Music Class aims to introduce babies, toddlers and youngsters to a world of rhythm, movement and sound. These classes will be taught and organized by seasoned professionals from Kids’ MusicRound. The Kids’ MusicRound program provides a developmentally appropriate approach to early childhood music education that is fuelled by a passion and love for children and music. Based on early childhood development and music education research, Kids’ MusicRound provides a fun-filled class environment where families come together to experience the joy of movement and music making.
Each class will feature singing, laughing, giggling, jiggling, clapping, dancing, bouncing, and instrument playing! Tots enrolled in these 10-week class sessions will receive 2 CD’s of children’s songs and songbooks with music activities. The cost of these materials is already included in the fee. Ages: Birth - 5.

Our Mini Monets Program at Tiger Hall is offered to children between the ages of 2.5 and 6 years. Each class is taught by April Zay, the owner and founder of Hummingbird Arts LLC. The goal of our art program is to encourage children and toddlers to discover what is unique about themselves through creative play and self-expression, while at the same time helping tots develop a sense of pride in their work and effort. Each art class is structured to follow a similar format, which sometimes incorporates a circle time, in addition to the weekly project, experiment and/or activity. Children often participate in crafts and activities that incorporate science and cultural studies as well. Ages 2.5 - 6. Parents may leave premises.

***Petite Picasso's: Art for Big Kids ($68 per month) Optional Drop-Off Option Available
Our Petite Picasso's Program at Tiger Hall is offered to children between the ages of 5 and 7 years. Each class is taught by April Zay, the owner and founder of Hummingbird Arts LLC. The goal of our art program is to encourage children and students to discover what is unique about themselves through creative play and self-expression, while at the same time helping them develop a sense of pride in their work and effort. Each art class is structured to follow a similar format, which sometimes incorporates a circle time or demonstration, in addition to the weekly project, experiment and/or activity. Children often participate in crafts and activities that incorporate science and cultural studies as well. The projects in this class are designed to suit the abilities of older preschoolers and young school-age children. This is an hour-long afternoon class for ages 5 - 7. Parents may leave premises.

Our Ballet & Tap program for tots creatively combines elements of fitness fun, dramatic play, storytelling, and elements of ballet, jazz and tap. Each student needs a pair of ballet/jazz shoes and a pair of tap shoes. Ages 3 - 6. Parents may leave premises if they choose to do so.

***Ready Readers ($72 per month) Optional Drop-Off Option Available
A one hour reading readiness program for potty trained tots between the ages of 3 and 5 years. Our Ready Readers are introduced to the world of reading, word decoding and letter sounds, in a nurturing environment and at an age-appropriate pace. Handwriting skills will also be a key focus of this program. Game play and learning through fun, song and rhyme will be the agenda for each session. All sessions are one hour long and include time for circle time, storytime, applied learning time (game time) and instruction (table time). Children must be fluent in English and able to identify and name most letters of the alphabet before joining this program. Sign up at any time!
Instructor: Olayinka Akinlawon, Princeton University Alumna and owner of Tiger Hall, has been working with preschool aged tots for over 8 years. Her experience covers tutoring, early childhood education research and teaching preschoolers in the areas of pre-reading, pre-math, social etiquette, geography and more.
***Ven Conmigo! Spanish for Preschoolers (starting at $72 per month) Optional Drop-Off Option Avail.
A one hour program for potty trained tots between the ages of 3 and 5 years. Our Little Language Learners work with an instructor whose main aim is to create a stimulating bilingual preschool-like environment. Our instructor is a native/fluent speaker and has years of experience in early education. Basic language concepts, beginner conversational skills, cultural studies, game play, circle times in Spanish, craft-time (craft instructions given mainly in Spanish) and learning through fun will be the agenda for each session! Ages: 3 - 5. Parents may leave premises.
Instructor: Pilar de Villacis is a native Spanish speaker. She was born in Ecuador, South America and has a strong background in teaching language immersion programs. She has more than five years experience working with children and introducing them to a new language in a very engaging environment.
Guten Tag! German for Kinder ($60 per month)
